Riverview International Christian Academy - Liberia, Africa

In 2018 Peter Ewers traveled to Ganta in rural eastern Liberia, Africa to design a new school on vacant land.  The school provides full-day education for first through twelfth grades with the expectation that the students will attend college, in a country where few rural students would have this opportunity.  In partnership with Engineering Ministries International, Ewers Architecture provided a master plan and construction documents for the first phase of the school, and a subsequent design for the cafeteria and gym (2021).  The school opened in November 2021 with 500 students, with ultimate plans to serve more than 1200 students.  Click “learn more” below to find out more information.
