COLORADO STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION BOARDROOM

Ewers Architecture was hired to enlarge and re-sculpt the space, to respond to the growing size of the board, the growing size of the audience, and the growing needs for integrating technology for online presence. The resulting space uncovers the windows to provide natural light, adds a dedicated heating and cooling system, uses natural materials of wood and cork, and provides a contemporary space befitting of this important part of education in our state, and befitting of the building in which it resides… the 1922 masterpiece that is our State Office Building.
