Designed and built around Passive House principles, the owner self-performed the construction after taking Passive House training classes.  Using double-stud exterior wall construction, high levels of insulation, and strict adherence to taping all joints, the house uses passive solar heating in addition to the air source heat pumps.  The seamless flow from interior to exterior and carefully sculpted windows ensure the beauty outside is enjoyed from everywhere.
