CURE Children’s Hospital - Niger, Africa

In 2022 Peter Ewers traveled to Niamey in Niger, Africa for two weeks to provide master planning and schematic design for the CURE Children’s Hospital.  In conjunction with Engineering Ministries International, we worked with the hospital to double the size of their facility.  The hospital provides free health care and surgeries to children in the poorest nation in the world (UN Development index 2022) to repair cleft palette, burns, and other abnormalities that are often due to malnutrition.  Ewers Architecture provided a new master plan for their entire site, plus schematic design for a new outpatient wing and a new inpatient ward, so that the facility can increase the number of patients and surgeries in the coming years.  Click “learn more” below to find out more information.
