40,000 square foot new charter school for an expeditionary, project-based learning environment for 360 middle school students. The building wraps around a landscaped courtyard as the central gathering space and the heart of the school.

Location: Castle Rock, Colorado

Sustainability: Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) for exterior walls, Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) electric heating & cooling system, roofs designed for 185kw photovoltaic array for near-net-zeroenergy (PV system not yet installed), beetle kill pine interior finishes, low-VOC finishes
